“I don’t think we’ve been introduced…”
Were his first words to me as I enjoyed a night out with friends overlooking the Houston skyline. Who would have known that that simple statement would have led to such a tight friendship that would one day lead to where we are today. Yes IT Girls…I’m getting married to my best friend, and I cannot wait to take you all along for the ride!

A whirlwind romance…
One fateful Sunday evening, seven years ago, I sat in my new apartment alone and almost bored to tears. I was new to Texas and had only met a few people so my social life at that time was slow to say the least. I received a phone call from a new acquaintance inviting me out to a night on the town, and while I at first declined the invitation, after a little coaxing, I finally accepted.
While enjoying the atmosphere of an outdoor rooftop gathering place, I hear a voice behind me. ”I don’t think we’ve been introduced,” he states as I turn around and face him. I am greeted with an infectious smile that causes me to smile in return and we begin a small conversation that turned into us chatting the entire night away.
I did not know at the time that this would be the beginning of an inseparable friendship. After that initial night, we saw each other everyday, sharing stories of our lives and getting to know Houston together. A little over a year later we started dating and 2 months ago he asked me to be his wife in front of our original meeting place.

Very rarely in life do we meet that one person who has the ability to truly love unconditionally. Over the years, my sweetie has truly shown me the meaning of love, friendship, patience and trust. I cannot wait to plan our wedding and begin our life together as man and wife.
