The life of an IT Girl is very busy and filled with work, community service, and social engagements. However, regardless of how crunched you are for time, it is very important to keep your life in order, stay georgous, and take care of your health. When I thought about the 5 things that every woman should do daily, about a million things came to mind. It was very hard for me to narrow them down, but I got the job done.

1. Make The Bed…and take 10-15 minutes every morning to tidy your living space. No IT Girl should come home to a messy unkempt place. You will be surprised how easy it is to keep your home clutter free if you take a small amount of time each day instead of a large amount once a week.
2. Floss Your Teeth…Every woman should take her oral hygeine very seriously. Daily flossing removes debris from between the teeth that is missed by simple tooth brushing. Long term build-up can lead to gum disease, tooth decay, and large dental bills.
3. Take Your Vitamins…Sometimes eating a balanced diet is simply not enough to assure that you are getting the daily recommended amount of essential vitamins and minerals. Supplementing your meals are a great way to incorporate missing nutrients. You would want to of course talk to your physician before starting any new vitamin or supplement regemin. Listed below are my favorites.
- Multivitamin: supplements daily vitamins and nutrients lost throughout the day.
- Omega 3-6-9: reduces risk of heart disease, elevated triglycerides, and can increase the shininess of hair.
- Biotin: Great for hair, skin, and nail health.
4. Compliment Someone…Whether it be a friend, co-worker, or complete stranger, make someone’s day by giving a sincere compliment. What I have noticed in my experience is that when I compliment others on accomplishments, style of dress, or a new hairdo, I actually feel better about myself. Try it sometime. I assure you that giving compliments is a quick and surefire confidence booster.
5. Wear Lipstick or Lipgloss…Nothing screams confidence and sexiness more than a woman with a great lip color. If were trapped on a desert island, and only had one makeup product with me, I would pray that it’s either lipgloss or lipstick. I recommend neutral colors during the day. Reserve the vibrant reds, and bright pinks for night time.
