Say “please” and “thank you.”

Doing this is just a matter of having great manners, however, you will be surprised how many people have never learned this basic rule.

Saying “please” when making request is simply polite behavior.

“Thank you” goes a long way.  Not only are you showing gratitude, and acknowledging one’s help, but also this shows respect to one’s contribution.
