Tis the season of new loves and I have become completely enraptured by berry makeup. Alexandra Burke, recently spotted rocking at the World Premier of Luxury Alliance, combined muted plum eyeshadow with sheer cranberry cheeks and bold lips for this deliously blended look.
Key Elements
1. Create a subtle yet colorful eye by applying a tan-pink eyeshadow to the lid, a muted plum color to the crease. Use the light pink color to create a natural hilight under your brows and in your inner tear duct area. Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Quad ($30, Ulta)) is a perfect all in one palette.
2. Using a concealer 1-2 shades lighter then your natural skin tone, highlight your under eye area and the bridge of your nose. Be sure to blend until you create a seamless finish. I personally LOVE MAC Studio Finish Concealer ($17, MAC Stores & Counters)
3. Apply a cranberry colored blush, similar to NARS Mata Hari ($27, NARS Counters, Sephora) to the apples of your cheeks.
4. To add drama line your eyes with a jet black liquid liner and apply multiple coats of mascara. Take this look to another level by donning a pair of false eyelashes.
5. Apply a berry colored lipstick like Estee Lauder’s Pure Crystal Lipstick ($24, Neiman Marcus) to top off this bold look.
