TUTORIAL | Makeup for Glasses

Many of you may not know that I am a glasses wearer and have been so since the 4th grade.  I mostly wear my contacts more so out of habit and I rarely wear my frames, but when I do I love looking just as made-up as I normally do.  Take a look at how I maintain my glam as a 4-eyed beauty obsessed makeup lover.

Wearing glasses and makeup can pose a challenge since frames rest on the face on the bridge of the nose and on the cheeks.  I tend to combat this issue by just making sure I really set my foundation with a setting spray and powder.

How do you apply your makeup as a glasses wearer?  Leave a comment and lets discuss.

  • Awesome Tutorial! I wear faux glasses all the time and I want to glam them up sometime, instead of always the nerd look.

    • Is it bad that I want to buy a couple of pair of faux glasses just for the stylish frames and wear them with my contacts? LOL!

      • Not a thing wrong with that!! I get most of mine from Beauty supply stores and ebay for like 1.99!!

  • I never really thought about the issues of wearing glasses and makeup. (LOL, I’m a little superficial so I only wear glasses at home :/ ) I have heard so much about these setting sprays but I’ve never tried them. Whats your favorite spray, maybe ill pick some up this weekend.

    • I love to use the Evian Facial Spray as a setting spray, and Urban Decay “All Nighter” is a really great one as well.

  • You’re a beauty. I’d love to repost this on my blog as I’m a glasses wearer also.

    • Hey there! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to repost. xoxo- Maisha

  • Thank you so much for this post. I have tended not to do too much into my makeup, especially around the eye area because my glasses are in the way. I will be trying these tips out, ASAP!
