As I write this blog post I can’t help but get a little nostalgic. I absolutely LOVED 2015 and am [only a little] sad that it will soon be gone forever. For me, 2015 was a year of tons of learning. I incorporated new makeup techniques into my bag of beauty talents, discovered new brands like Colourpop Cosmetics and added some absolutely delicious products into my makeup and skin care routine such as the Kiehl’s Over-Night Biological Peel.
One of my favorite things to do whenever we approach the end of a year is push myself to be more dramatic with my makeup looks. There is something about champagne toasts, black and gold attire and midnight kisses that screams glitter and glamour. In this New Years Eve inspired antiqued gold makeup look I wanted to achieve a wearable but super glamorous finish so I packed on the pigments and ended with very subtle cheek highlights and dusty rose lipstick.
