A Day in the Life: Vintage Tea Cups & Roses

Doesn’t it feel great when you find those things in life that make waking up each day that much more sweet.  This week has been particularly hectic as usual but somehow I was able to find solace in a few of very simple things.

1.  Fresh roses

Red-White Roses

My sweetie surprised me with these beauties and I have been smiling ever since.  There is something about the look, feel, and smell of roses that awaken my senses almost instantly despite my mood.

2.  Vintage Tea Cups

I am the ultimate tea snob so it would be natural for me to start collecting cute, dainty tea cups wouldn’t it?  This charming set [my first] hails from ANTHROPOLOGIE and was a gift to me from my future mother-in-law.

3.  Homemade Chai Lattes

Sipping Tea

Starbucks gets a ton of my money every year.  I’ve decided to learn how to create my own Chai Tea Lattes which is so much more cost effective.

They use the Tazo chai that is found in Whole foods. I realized that about 3 years ago…lol. Love those cups. Looks like something Villeroy and Bpsch would make.
